ATTENTION! ATTENTION! PLEASE READ! IMPORTANT INFO ABOUT SMILIES!!!!!!!!!!
Due to the cruelty of some evil computer-hackers in some foriegn country, the smilies everyone is doing (including mine and & Abb’s) are creating a way for these evil people to start creating major problems for everyone who goes on this site. When we type any smilie code into a comment (or for us Admins, posts as well), then it somehow lets evil people get into our site and steal information (I think). SO DON’T DO SMILIES ANYMORE! THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT!!!!!!!!
I’m going to work on taking out all the smilies we have done in the past, so don’t worry about the ones you already did. Just DON’T do smilies until the problem is fixed. Thanks.

October 18th, 2006 at 9:25 am Grace is correct. Specifically, if you get a login screen that says “cPanel” on it and asks for a user name and password, DO NOT enter anything. Just cancel the screen, and you’ll be OK. Then tell Grace or Abigail. This is a a very good lesson about the Internet. Unfortunately, the world has a lot of bad people in it who like to steal from other people, and do malicious things just for the fun of it. I will let Grace and Abigail know when the problem is fixed. I’m waiting for the web company to get back to us. Again, you can use the blog — just no smilies for now, and cancel any unexpected login dialog boxes.

October 18th, 2006 at 4:14 pm Yes, that’s the weird issue that I’m trying to research. If you type the characters that you would normally type to create a smiley in text, the blog software is converting this text (I’m not sure how) into a link to a yellow smiley image. This image links to a strange Indonesian web site that pops up the dialog box that concerns us. That’s the problem. So, girls, don’t do any kind of smilies, text or otherwise, until I find out why this is happening. Thanks, Grace & Abigail’s Dad
