I’m going to try to make Turkish Delight today. If it turns out well, we’ll probably use the recipe for our Narnia movie. I can’t wait to see how it turns out!
This post is going to be TOTALLY random thoughts!
Vacation was fun.
I like cheese
Swimming is cool
I want to meet Georgie Henley and William Moseley.
Computer is fun.
I say bye-bye now.
Hi! We’re back from vacation! We had a fabulous time in Cape May. I am going to try my best to describe our adventures:
Day 1: On the way to Cape May (Tee Hee! That rhymes!) we stopped at a place called “The Vincentown?Diner” for lunch. The food was very good, but the menu was very big and it was hard to choose what I wanted.
After we got to our house that we rented for the week, we did our usual inspect the house thing. I was mad that?the room I was sharing with Abby?was un-cool and my least fav room, but it turned out to be OK. After that, we took a walk to see what we could see. That cheered me up a bit. When we got home mom made pasta and we watched TV. They had like three bazillion channels. Whoo hoo!
Day 2: Dad and I went to rent bikes and get beach tags. Then a little while after we got home, our Uncle Joe and Aunt Carol came to visit. We had a lotta fun with them on the beach. For dinner that night, we went to this place called “Henry’s on the Beach”. You could see the ocean from our table. It was very cool, but unfortunately I had to sit where I couldn’t see the ocean. boo hoo. After dinner we did a little shopping at this store that had all this candy. Aunt Carol went nuts getting candy (If you’re reading this, Aunt Carol, no offense!). I got a pound of salt water taffy for myself. I guess I went kinda nuts, too!
Day 3: The first half of day three was boring. I did practically nothing, except I did take a bike ride with mom. Oh, and I taught my Grandmom how to play solitaire.
However, the second half of day three was fun. We went shopping!!
Day 4: On day four we went to the beach and had a total blast, went shopping (again!), and took a trolley ride. The trolley ride was B-O-R-I-N-G! The tourgide person taught the little kids about outhouses and decorations on buildings. Hooray. For dinner dad made cheeseburgers and fruit salad. Yum! Then he took us to the arcade. That was an adventure. Then we got ice cream.
Day 5: For breakfast, we went to “Uncle Bill’s”. I got the cherry pancakes. They were the best! Although I was only able to eat half of them. I would’ve probably killed myself if I’d eaten the rest. Then we went to the beach. After that, my Grandmom and I went shopping!! And then we had a pizza for dinner.
Day 6: On day six, the ants found my salt water taffy. I was so mad at those stupid ants! That box of salt water taffy cost me five whole bucks! But I had fun later because dad took us mini golfing. When we got home from that we visited with more relatives.
Day 7: The only thing I wrote in my journal about day seven is that I got stung by a jellyfish. I think I also took a bike ride with dad.
Well, hope you enjoyed reading this. I had lots of fun in Cape May.
We got a new car today! It’s gold, and it has lots of storage space. I like it a lot!
I just got my AG catalogue today in the mail. So tempting! They have all these cute new clothes! Yet I know I can make my own clothes for so much cheaper. This is a pointless post…

I really love writing. I think I should start a writer’s group for anyone who likes to write. Is it a good idea???
Today we went to visit our friends who live right near the beach. We had a lot of fun, but we had car trouble so we got home an hour and fifteen minutes after we had planned to. I am really glad to be home.
I thing the 4th of July is one of the bestest(tee hee) holidays in the world. I luv hot dogs and burgers and chips and corn and cookies and swimming and cake and……Well, I love a lot of stuff.
It’s a boring Wednesday. I’m just sitting here doing nothing. Anybody else feel this way right now?
It’s the fourth of July! What is everyone doing today? I am just hanging around at my house, but I have no problem with that, because on Saturday we’re having our big party for July 4th! Actually, it’s really a July 8th party, but who cares!!!! It’s a PARTY!
Last night we went to Peddler’s Village to see some fireworks. They were really pretty, but afterwards we actually had to wait to get to our car! But we had fun because we ran around on the grass next to the parking lot, and we saw a girl who we had met while sledding one day. And we got ice cream before the fireworks, so it was worth waiting forty-five minutes to get out of the parking lot. But we didn’t get home till 10:50! What a night!
