Today we had church and softball. We won our game! And my coach put me at first base, which is like an honor for me! WOOOOOOOOH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Next week is our last game. Wish us luck.
Is anybody going out for Halloween? I am, for the first time in a few years. I don’t know what to be. Alyssa W. is being a movie star and I might be one too, but I’m still thinking about it. Any last-minute suggestions?

As far as Halloween is concerned, you could be a baseball player — not a stretch ’cause you have a uniform. If I would be seeing you before Halloween, I would lend you a karate gi and you could be a martial artist, but that won’t work ’cause I won’t be seeing you! You should check the weather report for Tuesday to see how cold it’s going to be. That’s a real factor to consider in deciding on a costume. One year grandmom made dad a table. It was actually quite clever. She put a box on him, and his head was the centerpiece — he had a knit hat on with flowers affixed to it. Then she glued a paper plate with a sandwich on it, a napkin and utensils to the top. He was quite cute. He’ll probably kill me for telling you that! Good luck in thinking of a costume! Love AD
